Our philosophy is that the Allan House is the stage on which you create your vision. Our flexibility is our hallmark. We’re happy to recommend, but do not require that you use our preferred vendors.

We pride ourselves on offering our clients an affordable and accommodating venue in which to hold your special event. We offer payment plans and will personalize your time frame and rental rate in order to accommodate smaller events whenever possible.

We have taken great care and effort to restore the home to its original grandeur. The Allan House is now available for corporate as well private functions. Located conveniently next to the courthouse, the home provides spacious conference areas as well as virtual office space for lease during the business week. 

Lovely parlors, wide verandas and an idyllic courtyard create a picturesque venue, perfect for weddings and receptions, holiday celebrations, rehearsal dinners, anniversary parties, and other special occasions. The gated grounds include a charming stone patio with native Texas blossoms under a canopy of century old majestic oak trees.
Hundreds of twinkling, white lights trace the branches of our beautiful oak trees and wrought iron gates lining the perimeter of the grounds, creating a festive atmosphere for you and your guests to enjoy. Clients may add additional lighting if they desire more illumination.

The Allan House the perfect intimate setting for any special occasion. The elegant interior space accommodates wedding parties up to 125 people with formal seating indoors for up to 85-100. Using our beautiful courtyard and the interior of the mansion, we can accommodate 250-300 guests, depending on your seating style and the nature of your event. The home’s intimate charm and classic beauty makes it a splendid setting for your own historic memories.
For casual cocktail parties or special events, the total space will accommodate up to 400 guests.
